The 1st edition of the Trophées du Transport Ecoresponsable is a success

The first awards ceremony for eco-responsible transport took place on the evening of Wednesday October 17 at the Rowing Club in Marseille.
Attended by over a hundred enthusiastic partners and supply-chain players, TK'Blue wanted to reward transport players committed to its "Blue dynamic", by highlighting their initiatives to reduce their environmental and social footprint.

Seven prizes were awarded in recognition of the CSR dimension of the choices made by decision-makers in the transport chain: TK'Blue Shipper, TK'Blue Carrier, TK'Blue Transport Organizer, CSR Commitment, Environmental and Societal Performance, and finally the TK'Blue Grand Prize and the Jury's Special Prize.

THE WINNERS

Price TK'Blue charger

Richard Quesne, Sephora's Logistics Director, was awarded the Chargeur TK'Blue prize, in recognition of the CSR actions undertaken by the group, including :

  • The use of hybrid vehicles (20% of tonne KM) in urban environments, with hybrid vehicles under 7.5T emitting fewer GHGs, less noise and less pollution than a vehicle of identical capacity.
  • 98% of TKs carried out with committed, certified carriers (including subcontractors)
  • Expansion of the TK'Blue solution to 4 countries: France, Poland, Italy and Spain.

Prix Transporteur TK'Blue

Dupessey was awarded the Transporteur TK'Blue prize, for the CSR actions carried out by the group, including :

  • All their vehicles Euro 6
  • ISO 14001 / OHSAS 18001 certification
  • A very good TK'T index of 98
  • Installation of a bio GAS station in 2018

TK'Blue Transport Organizer Award

Philippe Labbé, General Manager of Tratel, and Rémi Duprez, Quality and Environment Manager, were awarded the TK'Blue Transport Organizer prize, in recognition of the CSR actions undertaken by the group, including :

  • 83% of TK carried out with committed, label-certified transporters,
  • Monthly CSR reporting to their customers
  • A reduction in GHG emissions to 69g/TK (in 2018), compared with an average of 89g/TK for intercity road haulage.

CSR Performance Award

Carrefour, TK'Blue's 1st customer, was awarded the Performance RSE prize, for the CSR actions carried out by the group, including :

  • The majority of city store delivery operations (66% of TK) are carried out with CNG and Piek standard vehicles, which reduce pollution and noise compared with a traditional diesel vehicle.
  • The Group's determination to go further in the CSR monitoring of its transport service providers, with the integration of broader CSR criteria.
  • The use of the TK Blue tool to set up the Supply action plan as part of the CSR Supply Community initiative.

Environmental and Social Performance Award

Pascale Gabla, Managing Director of Saint Gobain Glass Logitics, the Saint-Gobain group's freight forwarder, was awarded the Environmental and Societal Performance prize, for the CSR actions carried out by the group, including :

  • The use of transport providers with a recent fleet (Euro 5 - Euro 6) with at least 75% of drivers trained in Eco Driving.
  • Hosting the Blue challenge, 2 years running, promoting its most virtuous European transport provider.
  • Development and presentation of the Transloader with folding trestle to reduce empty returns.

TK'Blue Grand Prize

Denis Bertin, Jacky PERRENOT's Development Director, was awarded the Grand Prix TK'Blue for the CSR actions undertaken by Jacky PERRENOT, including :

  • Switching urban and intercity transport fleets to CNG
  • Purchase of 250 trucks for long-distance transport (double LNG tank)
  • Its TK'Blue commitment to the shippers who have asked PERRENOT to take part in the process as a recognized carrier in the trade, with all the vehicle fleets concerned certified and validated by the Agency.

Special Jury Prize: Responsible Commitment Award

Dominique Aptel, METRO's Logistics Director for France, and Marie Garnier, Quality and Sustainable Development Director, were awarded the Jury's special prize, the Responsible Commitment Award, for the CSR actions carried out by the group, including :

  • Inauguration of a platform in the Paris region to optimize routes and thus limit the impact of urban deliveries (15% reduction in vehicle rotations).
  • 100% of vehicles delivering to Paris warehouses to switch to CNG
  • 13-tonne electric forwarder to be tested in 2018
  • CSR commitments that go beyond transport: (food waste, promotion of short, responsible supply chains, etc.).
  • Involving its service providers since 2014
  • Publication of an annual CSR report including the TK'Blue rating,

The commitment of each group to sustainable transport and the encouragement of eco-responsible service providers are just some of the criteria highlighted by TK'Blue Agency, making each one deserving of this fine award.
