With Global Climate Initiatives, TK'Blue takes the bull by the horns!

The company's customers and partners share four key findings:

  • There's more to life than transport and logistics! Companies also need to establish and reduce theoverall carbon footprint of their entire organization.
  • Calculating and reducing is all well and good, but offsetting is even better for demonstrating a company's commitment to eco-responsibility.
  • Need to create a global operator to be able to work efficiently on the entire process: calculation + reduction + compensation/attenuation
  • Transparency is essential on the conformity of calculators and compensation programs guaranteed by recognized labels.

The TK'Blue team has been working tirelessly for the past 11 months ...and this week can announce the launch of Global Climate Initiatives (GCI)

GCI is aimed at all types of companies (industrial, distribution, services, tertiary, events), of all sizes (VSEs, SMEs, ETIs, Groups) and provides them with :

  • A one-stop shop for understanding, calculating, reducing and offsetting their carbon footprint, enabling them to assess their options and trajectories towards a direct or progressive zero-carbon objective.
  • Detailed proposals to complement the UN's Sustainable Development Goals(SDGs).
  • A complete visionof what their Climate & Carbon strategy could be, and the costs and benefits to be expected.

GCI, greentech for the future

  • Sector-specific greenhouse gas(GHG) emissions calculators that are accurate and compliant with recognized regulations and standards (Base Carbone, GHG Protocol, ISO 14 064) for all three GHG emissions scopes,
  • A set of optimization tips and online toolsto help you reduce your GHG emissions.
  • A wide range of carbon offset or mitigation programs or projects, backed by a performance guarantee (based on references certified by the Verified Carbon Standard (VCS) and Gold Standard (GS)).

The GCI network of certified experts

There are already dozens of well-known economic, environmental and CSR performance improvement firms in Europe, some of which have built their own emissions calculators, which are not easy to use.

By becoming a GCI Approved Expert, they gain access to these powerful and ergonomic calculators, and benefit from the GCI network to better promote their expertise(s), and in return benefit from the complementary nature of those of other members.
